How true is the effect of lunar eclipse or solar eclipse on pregnant mother.

 In our society, during the lunar and solar eclipses, it is almost heard that, 

 During lunar eclipses and solar eclipses (at certain times) when a pregnant mother cuts something, the unborn child suffers. 

 Much like this, the child's lips / ears will be cut off, or if something is broken or deaf, this child will be born with a disability.

 There is no basis for such talk, it is basically superstition. It has nothing to do with Qur'an and Hadith. If one sees an eclipse of the moon or the sun, one should remember Allah. 

 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said; 

 "The moon and the sun are two of the signs of Allah. They are not accepted because of car or birth or death. So remember Allah when you first see them." 

 [Bukhari 4818 Ifa] 

 In another narration the Prophet (peace be upon him) said; 

 "The eclipse of the moon and the sun is not due to the birth or death of anyone, but it is a sign of Allah by which He warns His servants.
